Geoff Harvey: Geoff relocated from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the Tweed area in 2016 after a 40-year career in the travel industry, where he held senior roles including Managing Director of DriveAway Holidays and Owner/Operator of World Drive Holidays. He joined Kingscliff Tennis Club in 2016, later serving as Vice President, Treasurer and ultimately President (2022–2024). Geoff introduced Pickleball to the club in 2020 as part of a successful strategy to diversify offerings, grow membership and increase revenue—resulting in a 300% growth. In August 2024, he resigned due to internal disagreements and went on to form Kingscliff Pickleball Club Inc., where he was elected President. He has been an active member of the NSW Pickleball Association and Pickleball Australia since 2021.
