Meet the Live and Local Tweed Community Working Group

Singer/songwriter Chantal Waters grew up in Mullumbimby and started her first band, Streetwise at age 21. She spent the next 12 years touring the North Coast and regional Queensland and has supported national and international acts, including The Black Sorrows, SpyVSpy, Dragon, Suzie Quatro and the Spencer Davis Group. Chana co-ordinated the Wollumbin Dreaming Festival from 2005 to 2007 and in 2013 Chantal started a local music business, Tweed Creative Studios. Chantal is also a judge for the North Coast Entertainment Industry Awards and still performs regularly around the North Coast in her newest band Waterwall.
