Project update 29 August 2024

Council has engaged consultants 8LA - Landscape Architecture to assist in the development of the management plan.

Throughout the year, 8LA have reviewed extensive background information and community feedback to produce a detailed Site Analysis of the study area. The Site Analysis identifies key uses, values, concerns and management issues, and will inform the vision, overall objectives and management actions of the management plan.

Recommended management strategies are currently being reviewed for feasibility with staff and key stakeholders and will be presented in the consolidated draft management plan for community feedback.

Council hope to recommence community consultation with a draft management plan early 2025.
