Erosion in front of the Cudgen Headland Surf Lifesaving Club
A buried piled concrete wall was constructed in 2010 as the last line of defence for the Cudgen Headland Surf Lifesaving Club as it was identified in the Tweed Coastline Hazard Definition Study (2001) as being at immediate risk from coastal erosion. The buried seawall was uncovered by erosion in 2011.
