The proposed artwork sites

Two highly visible locations have been chosen for the public artwork sites in Murwillumbah and Kingscliff, with both situated within road reserves.

The proposed site in Murwillumbah is the Alma Street roundabout at the intersection of Tweed Valley Way. This prominent location has long been regarded as the ‘gateway’ to Murwillumbah and will create a notable entry statement.

The Kingscliff site, the underpass at Wommin Bay Road, creates a physical gateway to the coastal communities of Kingscliff and nearby villages. It provides an exceptional opportunity to create a memorable entry statement for the Tweed's coastal regions.
