Consultation has concluded

On 17 April 2019 Council resolved to place the draft Procurement Policy V1.8 on public exhibition.

The draft Procurement Policy V1.8 is an update to the existing Procurement Policy V1.7 which outlines the key principles Council and contractors are expected to meet when procuring and providing goods and services. The updates in V1.8 refer specifically to requirements for Sustainable Procurement, Indigenous Procurement and disclosing particular business associations.

The draft Procurement Policy V1.8 is on public exhibition from 22 May 2019 to 20 June 2019. Hard copies may be viewed at Council’s offices at Murwillumbah and Tweed Heads from 8.30am to 4.15pm weekdays and at the Tweed Heads, Kingscliff and Murwillumbah libraries. An electronic version is available on Council’s website www.tweed.nsw.gov.au through the ‘What’s On Exhibition’ link. Submissions on the content of the draft Procurement Policy V1.8 must be made in writing, either by post or email, and received by Council no later than close of business on Wednesday 3 July 2019.
