Tweed Regional Museum is dedicated to collecting and sharing the diverse stories of the Tweed community. It creates connection, inspire wonder and provide unique experiences in unexpected places.
Managing several significant heritage sites across the Tweed, the Museum plays a key role in preserving and activating local history and cultural experiences.
A recent study by Arts Northern Rivers – Who We Are: A Profile of the Northern Rivers Creative Sector – highlighted a critical shortage of affordable, functional spaces for arts organisations in the region. In response, the Museum has made the Pioneer Park Courthouse, one of its managed heritage sites, available for creative use, supporting broader cultural development in the Shire.
