Burringbar Memorial Reserve and Masterson Park Draft Concept Plan

The findings of the community survey and additional submissions received during the public exhibition period are now available in the Community Engagement Report.

Community consultation on the draft concept plan occurred from 17 November to 23 December 2023. Thank you to everyone who participated. Feedback will inform the final concept plan. The plan is funding dependent.

The draft plan aims to unite priorities and preserve the heritage, culture and character of the village, while embracing the community values. An initial community survey took place from 17 November to 23 December 2022.

Feedback was reviewed and a draft concept plan has been developed, guided by the community’s desire for the following:

a new nature playspace
community gathering place for music events
additional seating
picnic tables
an accessible barbeque
native planting and landscaping
an upgrade to the car park

What happens next?

Feedback will inform the development of a final concept plan.

Council will need to seek funding for the delivery of the final plan.
