We have an exciting new upgrade planned for the Banora Point Community Centre Park, including updated inclusive play equipment, nature play, new furniture, landscaping and safety improvements.
The playground construction is now complete and the park opened in March 2022.
Thank you to the 74 residents who completed the second community survey, which has informed the final concept design.

Thank you also to the 180 residents who completed the initial community survey, which informed the draft concept design. View the community feedback from the first round of community consultation.
The design caters for children from 2 to 12 years old. It will improve the accessibility and safety of the playspace and also provide plenty of opportunities for adventurous play!
Council has received a $50,000 grant from the NSW Government’s Everyone Can Play Program to upgrade the park. Council will match this funding and partner with the local community to create a park and playspace that is more inclusive of everyone.
