We have an exciting new upgrade planned for Coral Street Park in Bilambil Heights. The upgrade will include new play equipment, nature play elements, seating and picnic table, landscaping and path improvements.

At the second round of community consultation to develop the Open Space Strategy (2019–2029), local communities were asked to prioritise the local actions. This ensured that local residents had input into open space decision making for their local area. It also addressed the local community needs and aspirations unique to each area.

The Coral Street Park upgrade and new playspace is a key action from the Open Space Strategy (2019–2029) and voted by the community to be a priority project.

Thank you to the 26 residents who commented on the draft concept plan and the 114 residents who completed the community survey, which we used to inform the final concept design.

Feedback on the draft concept plan and play equipment closed on Sunday 15 August 2021 and we have now reviewed your comments.
